4/5/09Sleep-Out 2009
Hope College Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual Sleep-Out in the Pine Grove event on April 16, 2009. Professors and students will join together to spend the night in cardboard boxes in order to raise money for our local affiliate, Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, and to raise awareness about homelessness in our area. The event will begin at 10:00 pm on Thursday, April 16. Pizza and hot chocolate will be available for all participants, and a prize will be presented to the professor that raises the most money. Please feel free to join us for this event!
Spring Break 2009
This year, Hope Habitat for Humanity members participated in a Collegiate Challenge spring break trip to Mobile, Alabama. We worked on siding and roofing a six bedroom house for a Sudanese family of twelve. It was an incredible experience, and we all had a great time!
