Miracle Families

In 1980, the U.S. Men's Olympic hockey team claimed victory over the USSR, which led to broadcaster Al Michaels' famous call, "Do you believe in miracles?" Today, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is raising this question again.

 

Amazing children and families represent the heart and soul of Dance Marathon at Hope College. These children and their families are the face of the hospital for the hundreds of Hope students who participate in the marathon each year. The children and families are present throughout the year at Hope College homecoming festivities, basketball games, the annual Miracle Auction, and Dance Marathon itself. Hope students and organizations form lasting bonds with the families —supporting them, learning from them and celebrating with them.
