Opus is no longer accepting submissions for the Fall 2008 issue. Keep your eyes peeled for the new issue. Also, there will be a special bonus Opus this year accompanying the Veritas Forum themed around "Incarnation." Anything incarnation-themed may be submitted following the guidelines below. Text submissions are due by November 3rd at 11:59 PM; Visual Art submissions will remain open until further notice. Please note that "Incarnation" should not be limited strictly to the Christian concept -- as long as it ties in somehow, it's up for consideration.
Submission GuidelinesUp to five total submissions are allowed. OPUS may publish up to three. OPUS only publishes student art of the highest quality, acting accordingly by being very selective in accepting submissions. Each submission is discussed and voted on anonymously by the OPUS Editorial Board. E-mail text submissions in Rich-Text Format (RTF) to opus@hope.edu, or drop them off on a compact disc in the OPUS box at the English Department office. OPUS requests that graphic files be submitted in TIFF format, but will accept JPG or other common file types.
