About

Relay For Life is a night of live entertainment, games and great food, all while camping out in the Pine Grove.  More than that, though, Relay is a time to remember the lives lost to cancer and honor those who are still fighting.

With every year, Relay keeps getting bigger and better!

Relay teams hold the event together.  From the opening ceremony to the final lap, at least one member from each team must be walking on the designated track around the Pine Grove. Teams can be large or small, and can consist of anyone affiliated with Hope—a student organization, athletic team, academic department, roommates or just a group of friends who want to have fun for a good cause.

To get started, each team should first designate a captain to register on the Relay Online website (http://www.acsevents.org/relay/mi/hope).  Click the “Sign up here” link, and you will be guided through the registration process. Once the team has been formed, other members can follow the same link to join your team.

If you would like to participate in Relay, but don’t have a team, feel free to contact either of our Team Recruitment chairs, or anyone on the planning committee (see our contact page) to be set up with a group.

We look forward to seeing you on Relay night!
