About Us

From our constitution: The purpose of Hope United For Justice is to unite students together to engage with social justice issues through education, awareness and action on Hope’s campus, in the community of Holland and in the global community, while also exploring the interconnectedness of faith and justice.

In 2011, we were named “Outstanding Student Group” of Hope College by Student Development.

The issues of social justice that we are currently exploring are human trafficking, clean water, environmental sustainability, conflict minerals, child soldiers, global education, consumer consciousness, women’s rights, and fair labor practices.
