Degraaf Cottage

Purchased in May of 1983 and converted to student housing in the fall of 1988, DeGraaf Cottage is located at 175 East 15th Street and can house up to 10 students.

Originally located on the current Cook Hall/Haworth Inn site, the cottage was moved to its current location in the summer of 1995 with many other college buildings.

This cottage is named in honor of Clarence DeGraaf who was an english teacher for the Hope Preparatory School from 1928 to 1930. He then became a professor of english for the College from 1930 to 1972.
