Voorhees Hall

Located at 72 E. 10th Street, Voorhees is named after Elizabeth Voorhees, who along with her husband, were supportive donors in Hope's early history. Originally completed in 1907, Voorhees was the first building to be lighted by electricity and was the first residence for women.

Voorhees Hall is a co-ed hall that has 53 rooms and can house 114 students. The floors are carpeted. The furniture varies in each room, but there are always beds that can be bunked (no lofts), closets, two desks with chairs and dressers. There is also internet connection available in each room. Voorhees houses a computer lab, laundry room, game room with a ping pong table, and lounges.
