Watch for signs about dates and locations

Job shadow a current RA to see what the job is really like

Step #2

Fill out an application (.pdf) (word)

Get two solid recommendations using the forms attached to your application, and remember to thank those who fill them out for you

Additional recommendation forms - if you would like to e-mail the form to someone to fill out. (word)

Step # 3

Watch for opportunities to meet the RD’s on campus – it’s a good idea to get to know the RD you may want to serve under next year

Step # 4

Talk to your family, your friends and your RA about your desire to serve and get their support

Step #5

Turn your application in to Student Development by 5:00 PM on January 14, and be sure to sign up for an interview time!

Interviews will occur:

Are you Currently an RA?

Complete the RA intent form

Return to your RD by January 9

Interview with your RD no later than January 15.
