Thanksgiving Banquet - Volunteers Needed

The Holland Rescue Mission's annual Thanksgiving dinner is quickly approaching! It will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 25th at the Holland Civic Center. This year's theme is "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!"

The mission is still in need of MANY volunteers to serve as table hosts! The job entails interacting with the guests, making sure everyone knows each other, and keeping the conversation flowing. One host from each table will also escort children to the Children's Program and stay with them during their program, then reunite them with their families at the conclusion of the program.
There are 2 dinners. You can volunteer for both or just one. Dinner will be provided for volunteers. The time commitment is as follows:
  • First meal: Come at 3pm, done by around 5:30pm
  • Second meal: Come at 5:30pm, done by around 7-7:30pm

*Also, there is a Prayer & Share meeting on Saturday the 21st between 10-11am. This is so volunteers can receive their name tags, job discriptions, have questions answered, and worship & pray for the event. This will take place at the Westshore Christian Church, just south of Eagle Crest Academy on 120th near Riley.

Call Paulette at 928.3407 or email at PauletteB@hollandrescue.org to get involved!
