Schaap Science Center
The Hope College Schaap Science Center houses the academic departments of Biology, Chemistry, Geological
and Environmental Sciences, Nursing and Psychology, as well as a science
museum. The new science center opened in 2003. The Peale
Science Center, constructed in 1973 and renovated during 2003-04, comprises a portion of the Schaap Science Center and is
named for
renowned
Reformed Church clergyman Norman Vincent Peale and his wife, Ruth Stafford
Peale, a former Hope trustee.
