ENGS 241 - Electronics I and Laboratory

Course Description
This course provides an introduction to analysis and design of DC and AC circuit. Diodes are introduced and utilized in nonlinear circuit application. Transistors are studied for applications as amplifiers and switches. Operational amplifiers and circuit applications are introduced and analyzed.

Course Objectives
•  The ability to analyze and design DC and AC analog circuits [1,2,3].
•  The ability to analyze the proper operation of diode and transistor circuits [1,2,3].
•  The ability to analyze and design simple analog circuits employing operational amplifiers [1,2,3,4].
