Mechanical and Electronic Shop Facilities

The shop contains a variety of equipment required of a typical research and development shop facility. This equipment includes a bandsaw, drill press, two Bridgeport Vertical Mills, a 14" Lathe, and welding equipment. The shop is staffed by a full-time technician. Students in Introduction to Design (ENGS 451) are required to operate various pieces of machining equipment including the Bridgeport Vertical Mill.
