The Kruizenga Art Museum is a teaching museum, providing educational resources and programming for Hope College, Holland and West Michigan.

HOPE COLLEGE FACULTY

Hope college students and professor visiting the KAMThe Kruizenga Art Museum offers the following educational program options to faculty at Hope College:

  • In-person group visits with the option of a verbal presentation delivered by the curator.
  • In-person, self-directed visits during a scheduled time period with the option of written interpretation provided by the curator.
  • Online-only exhibitions with the option of written interpretation provided by the curator.
  • The ability to create virtual galleries by subject or theme using artworks in the KAM's online collection

HOPE COLLEGE STUDENTS

Internships
Hope College 2018 John H. Dryfhout ’64 Intern working with Baluch textiles at the KAMThe Kruizenga Art Museum offers internship opportunities, including the John H. Dryfhout ’64 Internship, to Hope College sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in gaining experience with various types of museum work. Students from any department are welcome to apply, but all applicants must have completed at least one course in the Department of Art and Art History. Students interested in working with the museum may contact the museum director, Charles Mason, for more information.

K-12 EDUCATORS

Elementary students viewing artwork at the KAMThe Kruizenga Art Museum offers the following to K–12 educators:

  • Presentations and tours for visiting classes.
  • Assistance with the creation of virtual galleries by subject or theme using the KAM's online collection.
