Celebrate One Big Weekend (Homecoming + Family Weekend) October 15–17, 2026.
Thursday, October 15
- 4:30 - 6 p.m. | Alumni Hang Out hosted by the Alumni Association Board of Directors | New Holland Brewing Co.
- Join fellow Hope College alumni for a laid-back opportunity to connect with each other and start the (almost) weekend off right! Appetizers will be provided and you’ll have access to a full cash bar at this iconic Hope alumni-owned watering hole.
- 7 - 9 p.m. Rolling Together: Bowling Event hosted by Alumni of Color Advisory Council | Lucky Strike Bowling | 478 E 16th Street
- (Registration required, no cost) Alumni and students of color and their families and friends are all welcome to join for an evening of bowling, snacks and fun! Bowling and shoe rental fees will be complimentary. Transportation from campus will be available.
Friday, October 16
- 10:30 a.m. | Chapel | Dimnent Memorial Chapel
- Join the student body as they worship together at their regularly scheduled chapel service.
- 3 - 4 p.m. | 10 Under 10 Alumni Awards Panel | Winants Auditorium in Graves Hall
- The entire Hope College community is invited to join as we hear from the 2026 10 Under 10 Award recipients. They will discuss how they have pursued their passions and lived into their vocations, as well as how they have navigated life after Hope.
- 4 - 6 p.m. | Family Happy Hour | Aura at Haworth Hotel
- Parents and families! Kick off your weekend with us at the Family Happy Hour at the Haworth Hotel, hosted by the Family Advisory Council. This relaxed gathering is your opportunity to connect with other Hope families and settle into a fun and meaningful weekend together. Complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

- Stop by the HUB to: Pick up a weekend schedule, have a question answered, check out the memorabilia display, enter the raffle, play The Great Game (a free interactive, virtual scavenger hunt through campus including prizes for the winners)! Purchase or pick up preordered One Big Tickets, grab some swag and a ticket for a complimentary treat, pick up Donut Run 5K shirts and bibs

- 7-9 p.m. | 10 Under 10 Soirée | Piek Events at Tulyp Hotel
- Alumni, students, families and friends are invited to celebrate with the incredible 10 Under 10 award recipients in a meet-and-greet setting with appetizers and a cash bar. You’ll be treated to a short but meaningful award presentation at 7:30 p.m. There is no cost to register and you may come and go as you please.

- The Hope College Department of Music will present its annual “Homecoming Concert” featuring all of the college’s major performing ensembles.
Saturday, October 17

- 9 a.m. | One Big Weekend Donut Run 5K | Ray and Sue Smith Stadium | Register at hope.edu/donutrun
- The Donut Run is a 5K unlike any other! You can feel great about supporting Hope College Dance Marathon while you run, walk and eat donuts. Bring your kiddos for the free .5K fun run before the main event. See you on the start line!

- Stop by the HUB to pick up a weekend schedule, have a question answered and grab a bit of swag.
- 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. | Prayer Walk | Meet at Campus Ministries Huys der Hope
- The One Big Weekend (Homecoming + Family Weekend) Prayer Walk will be a guided walk through campus, led by Laura Wall, leader of the Hope College Chapter of Moms in Prayer International. All are welcome! The Prayer Walk will end at Dimnent Chapel for the One Big Weekend Alumni and Family Chapel.

and the Vienna Summer School | Martha Miller Rotunda
- Reconnect with fellow alumni and celebrate Hope's global legacy. Join us as we commemorate 60 years of the Center for Global Engagement and 70 years of the Vienna Summer School. Whether you studied off campus, participated in the Vienna Summer School, or are an international or third culture kid (TCK) alumnus, we invite you to celebrate these milestone anniversaries in an open house setting.

- Students who were on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2026 semester, along with their families, are invited to a casual open house with the Provost and Academic Deans.

- Check out the updated and expanded Phelps Dining Hall while having lunch on campus! A special menu has been prepared for guests at One Big Weekend. Boxes will be provided for those who would like to take their meal to go. For those not using the One Big Ticket, pricing is as follows: $12 for 12+, $6 for 5-11 years, and free for 4 and under

- It’s a party in the Pine Grove! Alumni, families and students are invited to celebrate Hope at this fun-filled event. Just stop by or hang out for a while - we’ll have food trucks with complimentary snacks, epic games, special swag, a fun photo booth and space to connect with your family or friends before you head to the Homecoming football game.

- Join us for Spider-Man: Brand New Day at Sperry on 8th Street! A small soda and popcorn are included with every seat. While no registration is required, seats will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
- 5 - 9 p.m. | Class of 1986 | 40-Year Reunion | Boatwerks Restaurant (Registration required, $40 cost)
- Let’s celebrate 40 years! Members of the Class of 1986 will enjoy dinner, a cash bar (one drink ticket included in registration), and plenty of time to spend together catching up with your fellow classmates on the shores of Lake Macatawa.
- 7 - 9 p.m. | Class of 1996 | 30-Year Reunion | New Holland Brewery - Fairbanks Room (Registration required)
- Let’s celebrate 30 years! Members of the Class of 1996 will enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar (one drink ticket included in registration) and plenty of time to spend together catching up. Due to the generosity of one of your classmates, this event is being offered at no charge.
- 7 - 9 p.m. | Class of 2006 | 20-Year Reunion | The Curragh (Registration required, $20 cost)
- Let’s celebrate 20 years! Members of the Class of 2006 will enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar (one drink ticket included in registration) and plenty of time to spend together catching up.
- 7 - 9 p.m. | Class of 2016 | 10-Year Reunion | 205 Coffee Bar (Registration required, $10 cost)
- Let’s celebrate 10 years! Members of the Class of 2016 will enjoy Skiles pizza, a cash bar and plenty of time to spend together catching up. The 205 is conveniently located downtown Holland, so the fun doesn’t have to stop when the reunion is over!
