Biography

Katherine Sullivan received her BFA from the University of Michigan in 1997. In 2001 she received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from Boston University, where she was a recipient of the Richard Ryan Memorial Award. Additional programs of study include Chautauqua Institute, the New York Studio School, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her most recent fellowships include Cooper Union and the Virgina Center for Creative Arts. Katherine joined the Hope faculty in September 2003, as Assistant Professor of Painting. Recent solo exhibitions include "Caldarium" at the Gebben Gray Gallery in Fennville, Michigan and Ithaca College's Handwerker Gallery in Ithaca, New York.
