Commencement Ceremony

Weather permitting, the Commencement ceremony will be held at the Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. 

The 2016 Commencement speaker will be Dr. Wayne Brouwer, associate professor of religion at Hope, who will present “Remember Whose You Are.”

Graduation candidates wear caps and gowns and sit together as a class. Arrive in cap and gown with your name card no later than 2:30 p.m. to line up.

The Ceremony lasts approximately two hours. No tickets are needed for this venue, and the commencement will be live streamed.

The rain or inclement weather location for the Commencement Ceremony is DeVos Fieldhouse. Tickets are required — get ticket information online.

Commencement will be streamed online and broadcast live at the Knickerbocker Theatre for those that aren't able to get tickets for DeVos Fieldhouse.
